Gen 3 oil leak...

So, my SRT-10 coupe has had the pan gasket changed twice since October. Once as a condition of purchase by the selling dealer (too far away to return the car to have done again) and once by Dan Cragin. It's still leaking. Dan has the car again now and is taking a look. Anyone else fight this issue before? Is it a hard problem to solve? If it's not the pan gasket, are these cars prone to leak somewhere else in that area?

Considering he'll find the exact issue and tell you about it, it's probably better if you just wait for his explanation and post it here yourself or request that Dan post the details of his findings.

Oil cooler lines??

THIS. I thought the same thing, oil pan gasket when I swapped in an 08 pan. Idle there was no leak but after a short drive the underside of the car was covered in oil. New oil cooler lines and it was gone.

The oil cooler lines are prone to leaking.

Viper4Christ, I totally expect that Dan will find the leak and correct it. I am just wondering if there are any other "Achilles' heels" in regard to oil leaks. Looks like it's probably the cooler lines as discussed above. i didn't know if my situation was unique of if others had had the same issues. I will know more later this afternoon. Thanks!
