1) eibachs installed
2) baer eradispeeds installed
3) ebc greens in the rear (already have the fronts)
4) alignment

here is the problem i have....he quoted me a total of 12 hours to get all this done.....how practical is that? anybody have any idea? how much did you, that have eibachs, pay to get them switched out? any info will help!!

Dude...Don't you own any tools? The rotors and pads, even the rears are cake to install...ANY chain shop can install ALL of these...Just make sure they use TORQUE wrenches...

The brakes: Two hours (do this yourself, this is gravy work)

The springs: Two hours (pull these yourself, you already have tires off for the brakes...take them up to Pep Boys and get the springs compressed on)

The alignment: Could be the most time consuming, depending on the techs experience level...and is the only thing I'd actually pay your tech to do...

What is he charging? I don't worry too much about how long it takes...I'd rather he take his time. It all comes down to $$$ for me.

Rotors and pads are dead easy....I really mean that. Heck, even I did it, and I am DANGEROUS with a wrench!!! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

We'll keep out fingers crossed for you....in the end, you'll be one happy camper! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Get with Clark!!! I am all for someone getting paid for their knowledge and expertise, I really am.....but it shouldn't take 12 hours (just my opinion) and over $900 just in labor! Do everything but the Eibachs and the alignment (if possible) and find someone reasonable to do the springs. GOOD LUCK!!

I hope you can hook up with someone and at least get the rotors and pads put on. From what you would pay in labor, you could buy the tools to do it. Sounds like a good Sunday afternoon project. I think my tech charged me $175 for an alignment(the best I can remember). Good luck and post some pics.
