The SRT-4 Nationals will have a track day at " No Problem Raceway " on Friday prior to the event ( in conjunction with the Mardi Gras Nationals ). Put February 20-22 on your calendars and the track event is open to Viper owners and we may need some extra Instructors for those that have experience. After the track day, the dragstrip opens that night for Bracket Racing, etc., so alot of folks might want to hang around and get in some straight time , too!! Check out www.srt4-nationals.com or call Greg Ledet ( pronounced Lu-Day ) at 985-870-6214. This could be a great time for all, and fun for the SRT fold, as many will stay around for the car show ( and more * ) and park with our SRT-4 friends - Dodge can take over the show. The Mardi Gras Nationals is actually a Gearhead party where 15,000 folks show up in the Winter for da heck of it. The entire weekend is based on the 3 Fs, and the 3 Bs.

Fun, Food, Fast Cars
Beer, Bands, Bikinis

The food and party Saturday night ( live band ) is unreal, and lots of National Automotive Rags even show up --- you know they will have to shoot a bunch of Snakes slithering around the complex.

Key points:

Track Day on Friday - Feb. 20
Drag Racing that Night
Race at ( legal roll cage cars, with SCCA,NASA< Viper Racing League, etc. drivers ) No Problem Raceway on Saturday the 21st.
Car Show in Gonzales, La. ( Lamar-Dixon Expo Center ) Sat. and Sunday - 21st & 22nd.
Killa partee on Saturday night with Bikini Contest, Live Band, booze, and lotzzz
of Cajun vittles!!!

This is the weekend prior to Mardi Gras, so some could just start off the fun and continue with a little Narrleens vacation.

That's right guys, it's going to be a blast! I'd like to see some Vipers come on out and strut their stuff. Don't worry, you guys will be on the track with other vipers at the same time, that is unless you want to get beat up on by an SRT-4...

I posted the wrong site ( www.srt-nationals.com ) and the answer about the Comp Coupe at the track is ......possibly. I am trying to get Bob to bring down both his Comp Coupe and the old GT1 that won virtually everything. I know the Comp Coupe will be at the Lamar -Dixon Expo Center, so who knows???

I just figured with all the Viper crazies in Texas and Louisiana , that a little track time, followed by some Drag time, might entice a few down.

I been over there a number of times. We had a make shift Viper Days down here back in September that was a lot of fun. I am glad to see you are making the journey down here for this. I know Rezin is excited to hear it.

Dear iispms,

First..........we have ******** in Nebraska too.
Second.........I am crazy.
Third..........what does iispms ( I's PMS) stand for, as it sounds like you might be a tad irritable, and as we know you are only a *******.

In case the PMS has any significance, this is a friendly question, as I already mentioned, I am crazy.

PS - So are you running the Autocross at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center on Saturday , also?

Well give us a call if we can offer any suggestions for Autocrossing, as that is how we all met.

Woodhouse -- Autocrossed for 30+ years
Me-met him Autocrossing 23 years ago, and was the Nationals Coordinator a couple of years when the Solo II Nationals were run in Salina, Ks.
Mark Jorgensen - Viper Service Coordinator , we have both known him for 15 years. He has a bunch of Pro Solo wins and a second ,numerous thirds in ESP at the Nationals.

PS - We are the only Dealer in the country with an adjustable sway bar for the Gen Is, and IIs.

FYI guys, I dealt with Mark Jorgensen from Woodhouse on detailed issues and he is EXCELLENT and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as is Woodhouse. Stand up folks all the way, even ordered a shift shift gizmo for my tranny today off of them.

Schedule some events down here in shithole New Jersey/Pocono, PA please! /images/graemlins/drive

Clayton is a class act and does phenomenal work, but............we don't want anyone visiting him after Friday , ha.

PS - Woodhouse is bringing the Comp Coupe and he says that is what he will race on Saturday at the actual races.

Let hope that Clayton doesn't have to do work to his own car after trying to keep up with me /images/graemlins/smiles

Your concern is touching, but I think you might want to concentrate on keeping YOUR car on the track. I forget, how many bumpers have we replaced for you?? And just so you know, this is at a ROAD COURSE, not a parking lot with cones. You WILL need to shift out of first gear.
