On a catless car, can the rear 02 bung (in front of the rear tire) be used for an 02 sensor, or is it too far away from the engine?

don't know for sure, but IMO, I would put it in a bunghole closer to the motor, but with no cats.....maybe it is ok back there.

It doesn't matter. I have an a/f logger installed in the short rear transition pipe (Balangers). I just dyno'ed and the $4,000 dynojet wideband temporarily installed in the front O2 well and my logger were dead on.

Why do you have the OEM rear O2 pulled and what did you do to avoid the service code.
