I have an 2001 GTS and after reading the service manual on how to get the trouble codes by cycling the key to the on position 3 times (which doesn't work by the way) I figured I would try cycling the key backwards 3 times to the accessory position and beep goes the horn and the brake lights and front turn signals start flashing along with the radio lights. I figure it has something to do with the alarm. It does not go off till you put the key back to the on position, then the horn beeps again and back to normal. So who knows what this is for?

Sean they got rid of that function on later years, not sure why they left it in the 2001 service manual. The only way to get the codes on a 2001 is with a reader per viper wizard.
