I am thinking of selling my 2000GTS Viper. It has a custom stereo system in it over $5,000 plus headers and Corsa exhaust .The car has 2,800 miles. All blk flawless. Car has been pampered.Never see n rain.Just curious what I can get for car in that condition.

Low 50's give or take a little. Stereo may be an important accessory to you, but possibly not to the next guy or gal. From what I have seen, people hardly recoup anything or only a small percent from aftermarket upgrades. If possible you would possibly be better off taking the system out and keeping it for whatever else you get. Just a thought.

Didja decide on the SRT after all Tony? What was the dealer gonna give you in trade? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

BadVenom, you might be able to get some more out of the exhaust and headers if you sold them. It's been my experience that you don't get much for the add-ons when you sell or trade a car. I had borla headers and exhaust on my C5 vette and I don't believe one person that looked at it when I was selling it really cared. In the end it was just lost money. If you would be interested in selling them separate, what would you want for them? I have been looking into buying some anyway.

Nah, not going for the new SRT.Maybe in the near future. I like to place an order for the Gallardo. I like the car and it's performance.I think Audi has done an incredible job with Lamborghini.

It seems that the OO's have the softest resale of all Gen II cars. They dont have the forged pistons and they dont have ABS. Blue White Stripe Cars are strong in resale, and 99 cars are strong for the cosmetic upgrades yet maintaining forged internals and the lumpy cam. 01, and 02 cars are still new and many want the ABS.

Having said that, what do YOU think a good low milage '97, such as mine is worth?

I would say $45-$48k depending on the buyer. Seems that the 96/97 Blue/White are the most desired, espically with lower (meaning around 10k) milage.

Think that's a fair price quote guys?

MarkO... 45-47 is low. I have seen many clean 96-97 GTS's go for a lot more than that in recent months.

Supply for a clean blue and white is very low while demand is stronger than most other GTS's... I would ask 52K and accept 50 or 51K. I had 5 strong offers on my GTS well above 47K when I sold mine.

I agree with Toby. If the car is super clean, it is definitely worth over $50k. When I was shopping for my Blue and White, every one that was below $50k had issues.
