What size of slicks do you guys run on 18's? Brand?

None. Drag radials in 18's. Slicks in 16's usually with skinnies up front.

yep. BFGs are the top dog for drag radials and truth be told i personally have had them hook every bit as good as ET streets of the line. 15psi baby and a hellacious burnout

There has been a lot of recent testimony indicating that the new Mickey Thompson drag radials could be as good or better than anything out there. The tires are a P255/50R16. They are the same diameter as the oem tires. I just bought a set from Summit for $160 each. They are much narrower than the BFG's, however, they have a much larger sidewall. I thought i would use them to play on the street.

Mickey Thompson is due to release big 18" drag radials anytime now. Contact them and see if they're on schedule for Spring release.

In a radial a 18" tire is not necessarily good, because you lose side wall, which is where the traction is mutiplied. On the other hand, wider is better. I will call them on Monday.
