I think they are Dana 44's with 3.07 gears. Most street and drag Vipers use the stock rear ends and gears with heavy duty Unitrax half-shafts.

Some highly modified track cars run Quaffe rear ends. Others use add a diff. cooler for the track.

the rear of the viper is a Super Dana 44 with 3.07s. as Anthony said, the highyly modded vipers run Unitrax half shafts in the stock rear. many of the titanium shafts have manufacturing flaws in the welds (know from personal experience). the heavy duty shafts are supposed to be top notch as far as dependability. the "new" titanium unitrax shafts are supposed to have the flaw figured out, and are supposed to be solid, i have some on the way so we will see.
