I thought that this was going to be such an easy decision. Started asking around and it seems the dealers know LESS that anybody.

OK, I would like a seat that i could mount on sliders, and would be comfortable for my 6', 205lb frame

Help, please!

I can tell you firsthand that the Pro2000 will not fit without shaving off the shoulder wing. Its not too bad, but I had to dremel off about 1.5" of the width so that it wouldn't depress the door panel too badly.

The evo2 I *believe* is a bit narrower in those shoulder flares area, so it might be a better choice. If you can find a dealer that has some in stock, head on over with your tape measure.

Mounting is also fun. I bought a pair of "mounts" from Archer for a Sparco. They're made out of 1/4" thick steel plate and are rediculously overdesigned - I suppose to avoid any type of lawsuit. If I had it to do over, I'd call Brian Nightengale (?) at RaceCraft. He makes a set of rails for sparcos that I think are better.

I also used a sparco sliding mount in between the steel Viper adapter and the seat. Let me know if you need more info.
