"ab" believes that there is a VA spy on the morg, and he feels that if you haven't ponied up the $100 buckos to join the VCA, he doesn't want to share his knowledge.
guys who think they can buy bolt on kits to save spending money with a top tuner crack me up.
if they do it because they love to tinkle and are prepared to pay the do it yourself price (pay 2-3 times what they thought by the time they have done it, fixed it, done it again, and finally got it right or sold it off with an ulcer) - well then bless them, and there are a few that of course know their stuff and get it right...
for the vast majority - "bolt on" = major crappy-doodles unless you pay a top tuner to install and get it all right.... and by then you may prefer teh choice of spending about the same to get the BETTER package they already offer.... geeeee
Hey Torquemonster...
What do you think about the Roe S/C? That is why I am going with the Roe S/C cause where I am at, there is no tuner for the paxton kits. I do have a friend that has a Roe S/C that he races and he is hella smart and have done it a few times; therefore, I think I should be ok. What you think?
I think any package is only as good as the installer... which is why I'd ship my car if necessary, and that broadens the options.
The Roe SC offers the most bottom end torque for the dollar, whereas the centrifugal packages have more potential top end and can run conventional intercooler etc.
Will your mate guarantee your installation will be as good as his? Chances are his excellent race car has had considerable time and money investment in it. Do you think that means he can just whip up a clone for you in a fraction of that time?
Maybe he can - I have no way of knowing. But I'd want to know if it were my money, because a few hundred bucks would get your car somewhere that you will know what you will get and it will come with a warranty.
King Viper
No tuner in your area well how about using a tuner that will pick the Viper up at your front door, pick up and delivery.
There is one tuner that owns the hauler, very professional. You do not have to wait until the delivery truck is in your area or wait an extra month for the return. (unless there is an ocean to cross)
I don't know of any other tuners with a hauler like this one.

I live in HI. Should I know that it was this fun to have a Viper, I would have bought one when I was in WA St and did all my mods before I moved back...

AB's a good guy. Know him personally, don't know why he's so secretive.....
Cause he knows Rich is much bigger than him and may get upset for staring at Loretta's ass in Bradenton /images/graemlins/supergrin.gif
