You might need to add a few classes. That is weak sauce brother.

You should add an abnormally aspirated class. Will there be moving pictures taken? I'd like to see them on The You Tubes.

This is the first event. We need to see how it goes before we start creating more classes. For now the class structure accommodates all generations (NA), puts some emphasis on the Gen 5 (they can run NA and forced induction cars can run in the Gen 5 class), and it keeps the monsters in their corner (Unlimited).

Having fewer classes will give everyone plenty of time to test and tune, grudge match, and allow for clean ups. Just the beginning here. With community support we can always expand to add more time and classes.

Right on Anthony!

High Tech Corvette covers all of our 1/4 mile events. They did a live feed last time for the morning test and tune and should have one going this time as well.

If you don't put add at least a stock class, you leave out a LOT of possible participants.

Yes stock motor allow modifications to exhaust only or whatever most people do that would disqualify from stock.

Also a radial tire class

Run your dial in number is also pretty good at keeping things even.

Its a double edged sword. If we have a "bone-stock" class we leave out all of the cars with simple mods, like an exhaust or intake. Moreover, a bone-stock class doesn't give the older generation cars a chance to mod up to compete with new platforms. All of those concerns are ameliorated with a NA (normally aspirated) class. Realistically, its all going to boil down to the driver. A good grasp on your nerves, quick reaction time, and solid shifting is worth more than a few simple mods from what I have seen.

Is not having a bone stock class keeping you from coming?

The normally aspirated class means no forced induction power adders or n2o.

There are a ton of class configurations. There is a place for everyone to come out and have a good time with how it is setup - that's the key. We can always tweak further down the road.

I just loaded past motion pictures from The You Tubes, and it's definitely some mad professional cinematography skills. How have I not discovered this channel before?!?! I'm currently viewing the previously recorded Quick 30 event and it's fantastic! I wish these types of things would be broadcast on cable, revive Speedvision. No BS commercials, tacky announcers... just racing.

Can't wait to watch the next event live!

DANGER DANGER DANGER WITH THIS EVENT!!!

I nearly had my man card torn up when I told my wife we would be going here for valentines day.

"No I thought it would be cool... isn't valentines day for both of us"
"Of course I remembered it was Valentine's day , you mean you didn't think I thought it was special if you drove the car? I don't understand..."
"Can't you understand my needs? Is it always about you?"

O.K. I'm joking she thought it was a cool idea, we are in.

BTW, if you need help setting up a class in the future let me know. Either way its going to be fun.

You gave me a heart attack with your post title at first glance LMFAO. Most people will be celebrating on Friday or Saturday. Sunday is race day, the real "V"-Day ;)

We can always use help on future classes bud! Let's knock this one out and see what we need to do make it better in the future. As an aside, if we get this event off the ground we have the opportunity to mix an auto-x event simultaneously into the next one. That will be a ton of fun.

Make sure to tech in so and I'll take it from there!

No Problem Amar,

I'm much less of an ass in person but my grammar is worse. :D

Already filled in the online form, if you didn't get it... I'll resubmit.
I didn't see associated costs or if a special invite is needed, minimum entry requirement, etc.

It will not be my first time down the track but first time in the viper.
Not sure if I know how to 60 foot without slicks...

N/A class is a good catch all if you can split out the GEN4's and 5's.

Again its about the turnout right, would suck running a class by yourself.

Thanks bud. Received tech form. Invoice sent. Your guests are comped. Once you take care of the PayPal invoice your position is secured!

Heads up. We have some drivers that will be bringing in other Dodge platform cars, like Hellcats. Our sponsors want to accommodate as well since they work on other Dodge platforms. The classes will not change though. If a non-Viper vehicle wants to compete their class will be the Unlimited Class. If you have any questions, please email or post up.
