Honestly, just based on common sense, do you think it will make THAT much of a difference? I dont doubt that it helps, but it boils down to whether or not you want to spend $200 for maybe a tad bit more power sometimes.

I heard that Zaino actually cuts .1 from your e.t. and adds about 1.5 mph to your trap speed... something about the increased aerodynamics of a zainoed car. Wearing a windbreaker also helps as they slip through the air with slightly less drag than traditional cotten.

I think it probably does channel a nominal amount of cooler air to the filters, but Idont think the difference would be a whole lot more than what you would see with different filter elements cleaning your K&N's...something stupid like that.

Well. I love how people still believe that after one negative report an item is to be totally written off. The one test the guy over at .org DID NOT DO, was hit the strip with it. Which is THE ONLY place I care if it works. I don't give a damn what a Dyno says, or some guys homemade pressure testing resulted in. Show me the time slips. Thats why I am going to try it for myself. Im sure if I see no gain, I can just send it back.

You think a timslip will show an extra 5hp on a 450hp car? What are you going to be looking for? A 117.8mph trap speed versus 118.0?

was thinking the same thing. Saw one of the Advantage products and after seeing multiple pics of the Vipair it would be simple to make something, but again, it would probably look like crap and in the end one or I would spend more time and effort for a measely couple hundred bucks.

In principle it should help, how much remains to be seen. Oh well, I bought one and if I don't like it I can send it back. No big deal. :cheers:

I received my Vipair today. From a looks standpoint I give it :thumb:
It looks really cool.

For someone wanting to home-make one, Id say forget it. It would end up looking like crap. There is too many bends that it would be very hard to duplicate. My time is worth a lot more then struggling to make something like this.

I will install tonight or tomorrow. Then I will hit the track to see if I can notice anything.
