Anyone have any suggestions on what software to buy to cut up videos so i can post some videos on the site?

Honestech is easy to use... they have a shareware version out too.. I'd give it a try

I use Sonic Foundry's Video Factory. Very easy to use. Includes everything you need including firewire for less than $100.

Apples iMovie is pretty decent and free (but you got to go down the apple route).

I just installed Pinnacle Studio Version 8 but haven't had a chance to play with it much. I got a ton of recommendations for it though.
