good question, now that you ask I think so. I don't know much about the old cast iron V-10. I think I've seen maybe 10 trucks that got ordered with it.

I've had mine for over 100k miles and never paid attention to the covers, I know the gen.2 shorty headers have a diff. bolt pattern.

I would say as long as the orange area is still soft and plyable, re-use it. :thumb:

The other "cheap otion would be to apply some of the copper gasket sealer to the old gasket, I've done that before :nod: :nod:

the gaskets off the truck and viper are totally different..where did you find them so expensive??....i'm alot cheaper!!
