V-10 Nationals TEXAS STYLE!

Date is November 15th.

if interested let me know real soon, I know this is short Notice but it is in TEXAS and they always Produce High Car Turn-outs.

I AM IN AND WILL BRING A FEW INTERESTING CARS.

DR. ROOF ARE WE GOING TO RUN CLASSES LIKE WE DID IN BOWLING GREEN? I DONT MIND RUNNING THE AUTO CAR IN A SEPERATE CLASS TO TRY TO KEEP THE OTHER UNLMITED CARS FROM WUSSING OUT.

WE PLAN TO HAVE A 6-SPEED CAR THERE TO CRUSH THE CURRENT MANUAL ET RECORD OF 9.45. WHO WANTS TO COME WATCH?

NOW WHERE IS MY DAMN BAG OF POPCORN!

WE WILL MOST LIKELY PUSH THE DATE BACK TO SUNDAY DEC. 7. I SPOKE WITH THE TRACK OWNER TODAY ABOUT IT. THIS LETS GERALD COME RACE AND PUTS US BETWEEN THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS. THE AIR SHOULD BE COOL AND CRISP FOR RECORD RUNS.

I WILL TRY TO CONFIRM THE DATE TOMORROW.

Dec air is faster than Nov air /images/graemlins/gr_driving3.gif :burn: :burn: .... also early Dec would keep it far enough away from both hoildays

Thanks David, having a committee that looks at all of the racers concerns is a great idea. I just hope the rules are kept as simple and as inclusive as possible in an effort to get the greatest amount of participation.

I have rented the track at my expense and I am glad to offer it to the event just so we have a race. If you guys want to reimburse me fine, but if you want to leave the money in the pot to buy good trophies, etc. then thats cool with me too. I want nothing in return for this deal, other than some good competition and good comraderie.

Keep everyone posted on rules, classes, etc. so everyone can plan on what they are going to do. If it comes down to it, make a separate class for each entrant and their special set of mods and circumstances, and then at the end of the event, everyone can proclaim to be the winner of their own deal and worlds quickest and fastest for their own given car. Now that ought to get everyone to come out and race!

I would suggest that you add Albert Chlouber to your commitee as he is a respected racers around here and would give good suggestions for running a good event.

Hennessey Performance has rented the track at our expense and we are glad to offer it to the event just so we have a race.
