Just an update on the event. We are now accepting registration. For more information and to download the registration form, go to www.standardcollision.com and click on the "Viper Track Day" button. You will find directions on how to register along with the rules and specifics on the event. All viper owners are invited to attend as spectators but we will only have available 21 track slots. So, if you want to track your car you should register soon. (we will also be accepting stand-by registration in case of cancellations). Both spectators and track participants must register to attend. Those of you who have already contacted me about participating have been emailed this information and have had a track slot reserved in your name.


VIPERS AT NO PROBLEM RACEWAY
Saturday, September 6th , 2003

Viper drivers are invited to No Problem Raceway Park, in Belle Rose Louisiana to take part in the first Southern Louisiana Viper track day. Test your car, your driving skills, and learn new skills.

ACTIVITIES
Bobby Archer from BOBBY ARCHER MOTORSPORTS will give a Viper tech and
safety seminar.

In-car instructors will be on hand to provide driving instruction.

BOBBY ARCHER MOTORSPORTS will be on hand to provide trackside service
including tire mounting and balancing and will have available for
sale: performance parts, tires and accessories.

TRACK TIME, TRACK TIME, TRACK TIME!!!

Participation in on-track activities will be limited to 21 cars but all Viper owners are invited to attend. Once all 21 available track slots are filled, stand-by registration will be accepted which will allow late registrants to participate in the event of a cancellation.

BOTH ON-TRACK PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND.


COSTS FOR EVENT ARE AS FOLLOWS
Track participation and driving instruction: $ 130.00

Spectators: FREE

Lunch will be catered at a cost of $ 9.00 per person.
(Personal ice chests w/drinks OK; catering specified by track)

Payment for the event must be at the time of registration.

TRACK INFORMATION AND DIRECTIONS

GATE TIME

Gate times:…………………………………gates open at 8:00 a.m. close at 5:00 p.m.
Be at track by 8:00 a.m. for final tech inspection. Wrap up at 5:00 p.m.


PARKING AND TRAILER DROP OFF
Trailers and rigs can be dropped off any time during business ours from 8:00 to 5:00
If you plan to drop off your trailer on the Friday night before the event, you will be charged $10.00 because there is a drag race event that night. The $10.00 gets you admission to the track and allows you to run your car in the drag race event.

Sept. 6th is coming up soon. There are still a few spots left, so lets see some more Vipers step up to the plate! BTW, considering that the event is right outside New Orleans, some "unofficial" plans have been made to sample some of the city's "other" fun filled activities!

As Clayton said, this is just over a week from now. Who wants to wants to learn how to drive their car around corners?? I know most of you can go in a straight line REALLY fast....but come on...how much skill is it to flip the N20 switch???? Come play with us on this great 1.8 mile course just outside of Baton Rouge, La. and learn how to go fast in the corners.

If you come, you have a less chance of making your car look like this:

I have a business trip in destin. been trying to get out of it......not happening. :rant:

chip, when you coming to gtown to drag. come saturday for the afternoon/evening.

trust me I know, I know. this is business/pleasure and the money has already been paid so if I didn't go, that would be a few thousand dollars. Sux.

I beat that really hurt. Is the person still alive after this one??

I feel bad for the car :bawling:
