Two Days without rain & two Viper sightings - are these things becoming as common as Corvettes?

Yesterday - on Lyons Rd. around 3:50 PM turning left to go South on Springboro Pike - a graphite gray RT-10 with a rear spoiler and the top off - but he didn't recognise me in my blue Dodge Ram - I know someone lives in Springboro, Ohio with that Viper, but I forget who. Let's get together & do some Vipering! /images/graemlins/yay.gif

Today - on 725 near Bellbrook, Ohio around 11:47 AM heading West & I was heading East - Shock & Awe - we both had our jaws drop and stuck our arms up and waved. Instantly recognisable as a Viper from the front - a 2003 red Viper SRT-10 with the top down. I was in my YELLOW monster with the top permanently attached (GTS). Let's get together & do some Vipering! /images/graemlins/yay.gif

Toby -

I want to see your beautiful blue & white, too. The weather looks happy from today through Wednesday, then rain again. It could be an opportunity to bring your camera.

I don't think you need to worry about bug splats on your Viper spoiling the photos since I got almost every bug in Ohio on the front of my car last night.

Kenny, did the VEC-2 do the trick with the detonation problems you were having?
Paul...If I may...YES! The VEC 2 is the answer. Sean keeps tweaking the magnetic "cards" to pull more timing out and now it's really smooth and detonation free.

And the VEC2.1 is a nice improvement over the VEC2! /images/graemlins/yay.gif /images/graemlins/gr_driving3.gif /images/graemlins/yay.gif

How much timing did they take out to make the thing run on 93 octane?
Beats me. All I know is that I can feel a difference in power between 93 and 94 octane. I'm running 93 octane right now because 94 octane causes my credit card to feel more difference than the acceptable 10 cents per gallon.

Anyone know how much Sean is charging to update the VEC2 to the new VEC2.1? Also, how long does it take to get the updated version once you send the VEC2 off? Thanks!

No charge. You pay the cost to send the box to him and he pays identical postage back (next day air, etc.). He mails it out the same day he receives it. Can be a 2 day turnaround.
