Injector size, CFM [email protected] for blowers, fuel system mods. AF controllers? retard boxes?

I may be wrong on some of this stuff. Im not sure what size injectors the roe, heffner, and DLM kits use, but I know they all use Bosch or Ford Motorsport injectors. I beleive DLM supplements most of his fuel through 4 injectors mounted in front of the TB's. Heffner and and some of the TT guys replace the stock internal fuel rails in the intake manifold with a new rails and a return system. They also use a new aftermarket pump. Some use retard boxes and It hink the are a good idea to stop detonation that may occur with weather changes. Im not sure what computers they use. This seems to be a "hush hush" discussion but I have heard good things about many of the custom tuned tuner boxes, and the new to the market VEC2.

I'm wondering if an Apexi or Split Second controler could be adapted to the system... since it's not usualy car specific, just ODB1 or ODBII, MAF or MAP.

I may end up using the stock manifold + top feed rails on my TT project, since I went through all the trouble of turning it blue /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Maxx,

I've been thinking about doing some kind of piggyback or even replacement PCM on the Viper. I have the electronics and programming knowledge, but what I lack is the detailed knowledge of EXACTLY how the various sensors on the car interact, etc. I know what all the sensors do, but "putting it all together" into a FULLY programmable PCM for the Viper would be NICE.

Maybe we could help each other?

I'm trying to disect the vipers ODBII setup little by little. My shop manual is a big help for sensor locations, but there is much more to it than that /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm all for trying to get some ECU tuneing ability out of the viper ECU... its pretty much voodoo at the moment to most (just like turbocharging..)
