Was looking at some used RTs and looking for specifics on things to "look for" before purchasing. Never owned a viper but have owned several old muscle cars, harleys, and such. Any input is appreciated.

Just picked-up my 01 GTS two weeks ago after 6 months of researching, watching, and learning. Search for specs. by year to decide if any of the model changes are something you can't live without. VCA has some good info. by model year and such. Good Luck and Welcome.

There is a book coming out shortly that explains every difference of every year/model and what to look for when buying.
