Utah ..... Larry and I drove 1200 miles(from Fla to Norwalk,Ohio) to their backyard. They said 3 Heffner were SUPPOSE to show, NOT ONE CAR SHOWED UP.

I don't know if they ever show up at PUBLIC tracks, or they only race at their Maryland track and show video tapes.

Last 2 events they were NO SHOWS....Time will tell....

you guys have to realize that things go on during these 3 weeks before the finals. i have my final midterms this week and next. call me a chicken, call me whatever, no hard feelings here. if i cant make it b/c i have a conflict, i cant make it. the people who know me, and who i respect have the power to effect me, not some guys around the net, or in a community. Dr. Roof puts on the king of events, and i can guarantee there will be more. especially with the hype this one has! i WILL get to one, but when it is coincidentally scheduled during finals week, what do you expect? ask BigCarrot, he knows i was interested, but believe or not, things come up. i "could" study over the weekend, but anybody want to tell me the odds of that happening? hanging out with a bunch of guys for the first time, all sharing the same interest, and having the riverwalk on a saturday night ready to go? give me a break :cheers:

Cudaman, my differential cover shattered destroying a lot of shit the week before Norwalk.

I will be there and I am sure we can line up side by side at the strip as well as on the highway.... Are you game for some roll-ons?

I believe that Heffner is trying to bring the TT car, if it is ready, not sure of any SC cars. I hope he brings the 9 sec car, so every body can compare their performance with the record breaking car on the same playing field. I hope they all make it....

DR. ROOF IS GOING TO NAIL DOWN FIRM DATES FOR DRAG EVENTS IN FLORIDA (FEB.) AND BOWLING GREEN (APRIL) ASAP.

I SUGGEST THE NEXT VENUE TO FOLLOW BOWLING GREEN MIGHT BE ON THE MID EAST COAST, MAYBE MIR IN JUNE? CERTAINLY GARY A, JASON HEFFNER AND THE VA/MD VIPER GUYS COULD HELP ROOF MAKE THIS HAPPEN. JUST AN IDEA.

THERE IS ENOUGH INTEREST AND DEMAND FOR VIPER DRAG RACING TO HAVE A MINIMUM OF 4-5 BIG EVENTS PER YEAR. DR. ROOF, PLEASE CHIME IN HERE.

SO I THINK THAT THERE IS A VERY STRONG POSSIBLITY THAT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, THERE COULD BE A FIRM SCHEDULE OF 2004 VIPER DRAG EVENTS, WITH TRACKS SCHEDULED AND RESERVED.
