basically it comes down to what the s/c actually effected. if something in the motor fails and they open your hood and see piping, i highly doubt they will take the claim. but, as Mike said, if something on the interior, for example, failed you could claim it b/c it isnt related. that doesnt mean that ALL engine problems are related to the s/c, and as long as you can prove otherwise im sure you are ok....you want heffner's number? /images/graemlins/supergrin.gif

If you SC an engine, your factory warranty is VOID! Period! How any dealer "handles" a problem is really the question. And that answer is VERY particular to the Dodge dealer.

I had an aftermarket part break and cause problems. My local Dodge dealer, Voss Dodge, wants to keep me as a customer and wrote everything up as warranty work - no charge.

The part that broke was a plexiglass tube for the silicon smooth tubes on my Roe 70mm airbox. Sean Roe changed the design to a metal tube shortly after I bought mine (very early model) and sent me the new airbox, which I got the very next day. Sean took it upon himself to do a recall of all the original plexiglass airboxes and send everyone at no charge the new airbox with the metal tubes.

Hurray for Voss Dodge of Centerville, Ohio and Sean Roe! /images/graemlins/yay.gif

My point exactly! Chuck Tator is my tech and a Dodge dealer AND an authorized Roe installer...need I say more?
