Could someone give me the correct width of the factory stripes and how far apart they are on a factory striped GTS.

in general 8" stripe with a 4" space, but depends on which year as I've been led to believe they slightly varied over the years

Yep, 8 - 4 - 8 is what I have heard, but I've also seen it measured in millimeters. 8 - 4 - 8 is what my 2000 is ...
