Can't decide on which one to get. There are plenty of new 2002 GTS ACR's around, which is my other choice other than the 2004 SRT-10. Far as I see it, the GTS looks way better and has the hard-top coupe, which I like so I dont loose my mellon when I roll it. But the 2003-2004 models have the HP, 500 from the get go, easily upgraded to 550 or even close to 600 with bolt on modifications. To get 550 out of the GTS you would be adding 100hp to the stock engine, not as easlily done as it is with the SRT-10. ANd the SRT has the "modern" advances, the GTS is older technology. And for the money I hope these Vipers whip a** on my Z06, or I will be dissappointed

<What makes you think you can get 550-600 hp out from the SRT-10 with bolt-ons? What's your definition of bolt-ons? >

-West Coast Viper, a shop not far from one of my houses, sells an exhaust set up, smog legal, that adds 55 RWHP to the SRT-10, add that and maybe an intake set up and its got to be close to 80 or 100 BHP added.

Don't be fooled by the West Coast Viper claims.

"This bolt on system includes high flow headers with a full true 3" exhaust. Includes new HIFLOW cats and comes complete with everything needed. Dyno proven to add 55 horsepower to the rear wheels! Smog legal!"

Hopefully people will do their homework before spending any money with these guys, because the SRT-10's do not see these kind of gains. A big clue about their integrity is the "smog legal" claim.

-So what kind of gains do they see? The stock numbers for the SRT I saw posted on these boards is from 427 to 457 rwhp, seems to vary car to car, dyno to dyno. How do stock GTS #'s look?

About 30 rwhp for headers and exhaust with high flow cats for the SRT-10's.

Stock SRT-10's should dyno around 440-450 rwhp. Numbers lower than that could have been the valve problems or poor dyno practice with regards to heat soak.

Stock GTS's typically dyno a little over 400 rwhp.

<an exhaust that adds 55 HP? HAHAHAHAHAHA >

-I was just posting what their website claims, and I left the link to it. I guess 55 to the wheels would be like 75 to the crank, so probably not accurate I agree
