Fired up the beast yesterday, and before it got to temp, it was sputtering and set the check engine light...When it warmed up...she ran just fine...light went away...Anomaly? A paranormal experience???
This morning, same thing...sputtering, seemed like it was getting worse, until she got up to temp, then ran just fine, set the check engine light again...So I break out my code reader..."misfire, number 1 cylinder". No biggie, I still have the stocker wires that I replaced with those cool looking red Magnecor's...They were fine when I took them off, I'll toss those on and see wassup...
I go ahead and pick up some Champion's, figure while I'm swapping wires around, and the plugs are cheap enough ($0.99)...changed the plugs and wires...cleared the check engine light...Fired it up, and took a little rip, RUNS LIKE A STRIPED APE!!!
I now have the stocker viper wires on my Durango! Eight of 'em anyway. That little 5.9L never got so much spark! You just can't beat quality used parts!!! :thumb:
