I'm thinking of changing out my rotors since my brake pads are getting low. I want to keep something that is similar to the stock setup.. ie: no 3k+ brake kit. Anyone have suggestions for stock applications that won't break the pocketbook? Anyone know about EBC rotors? any good? I've had recommendations to use the EBC Green pads. Open to input thanks!

Haven't heard anything about ebc rotors. Green pads work well for street use. Wheels stay alot cleaner. Don't use them on the track they won't hold up. Track ebc pads try red or yellow. Both require some heat to work well. Stoptech big brake kit under 2000. Ran them on my race car , worked well. Stoptech also makes direct replacement rotors also(oem size).

Stoptech OEM replacement AeroRotors are *great* for the track. I have a set of slotted ones, but the pads grab the slots in Reverse when they're hot. Pop-pop-pop-pop. NAPA makes an inexpensive OEM replacement that is smooth-sided like the Dodge/Brembo stockers.

EBC's are good for Poser points and have worked fine on my car and I have used them at a track event with no problems. Most posts state that under extreme heat conditions you may get some cracking with the drilled rotors. As Plumcrazy states the stainless brake lines should be done before anything else. There are also many posts about bleeding your brakes, I use a Motive brake bleeder with the miller adapter, others like vacula either way it was pretty easy to install the brake lines and bleed the system even for a first timer like me.
