Up front, I used two of those self-adhesive tie-wrap retainer blocks on the front of the A-arm. I cut a short piece of radiator hose and ran the zip ties thru some slots I cut in them. The canisters need some freedom of movement if the connector hose is relatively short, like mine.

I don't have a good photo of how I did the rears.

The canister IS on the back side of the arm. Tucked up in there nice and safe. I tried the stickies on the back and they wouldn't stay put - too much movement and stress on the adhesive. I put them on the front and use the tie-wrap tension around the arm to hold both the radiator hose pieces and the sticky sqares. Works like a champ!

Smoke,

I would suggest finding out the dimensions of the canisters for the shocks of your choice and decide where you want to mount them. Then, decide on the fittings you want out of the shock and canister. Finally, cut the hose for the exact length you need. Keep in mind that shorter hose probably gives you better response, but rubber bushings in the wishbones will negate much of it.

My shocks came with short hoses and I put them in the only places they could go. If given a choice, I would have done it differently - especially at the rear.
