The radio in my '99 GTS really sucks. The CD skips when I go over anything bigger than a grain of sand. The radio reception allows me to hear stations that are no further than about 10 miles away.

Is this common? Anyone else have this issue?

Sorry, I dont have answer for you Vipah. I just wanted say wasss up!! lol... You really duked :fight: it out with some of the assholes over at the other site. I understand that they are trying to make a point but, they dont have to act like little bitches about it. Anyway, glad to see you over here.

This looks like a pretty good site.

The problem on the other site is that they haven't thought things through. They need to figure out who the site is for, is it a corporate sponsored site or is it a site that the members control with their dues. Either way they need to have the proper disclaimers to protect themselves.

I still think their actions have opened them up to MORE liability. You can infer that everything on the site is endorsed by the VCA and DC, so if you get ripped go right ahead and sue them.

As far as the reception goes, I have no problems receiving stations. The skipping thing only happens when the car gets jarred slightly or worse.

I had severe skipping problems with my stock stereo. I sent it to DC under warranty and the replacement had zero problems.

Then I put that into my wife's IROC and put a whole new system into the Viper. /images/graemlins/supergrin.gif

No problems here... radio or CD..... 02 FE GTS...is it covered by any warranty?

If it is...get to a dealer
