Purners and tires

all last yr ive been content to run on front street tires and rear BFGs. i am thinking about getting a set of purners with tires so as to run rear slicks. whats this full deal gonna cost me and whats the best recomm setup?

New - about $2,600 for wheels and tires.

Used $1,500-2,000 if you can find them.
so purners are the best choice for slicks/skinnies? damn limited choice. id like something a bit more appealing ot the eye for the snakebitten (poser) in me /images/graemlins/supergrin.gif

Only game in town as far as I know.
Weld, Centerline and a few others will do custom rims for you if you don't want to be like the rest of the crowd.

And they do make some real lt. weight racing wheels. :nod:

Just something to consider.



Last time I spoke with John he told me $2,300, so they may have come down a little.
