Is it still on? Im questioning wheter i should go or not given some of the actions that the organizer exhibited on the .com site. as much as i'd like to see some of these vehicles i'm not really keen on being associated with people who makes such infantile personal attacks as what transpired on the message boards on the .com site.

If people are this uncivilized without even knowing each other i fear for how they would behave in real life -then again they may just be a bunch of keyboard machos.

Are any of you guys having the same hesitation or are you all going?

John did nothing wrong on the .com site other than speak the truth. He was not behind any of trolling as most of you think.

Don't let the Texas "Shit Kickers" scare you. There's just a hand full in Houston that always like to stir the shit pot just to cause alittle drama in there day to day lifes. I'd say 95% of the guys I know in Houston are top notch friends!! [image]http://htownracing.com/images/smiles/lhdevil.gif[/image]

I will be there and hope to meet a lot of new faces there as well.

Maybe. But surely nothing to enter in the event.

Would this ride start with the letter F by any means?

I'll be there - looking forward to it. I know my friend Clayton is planning on bring a '01 GTS from Louisiana and my friend Steve might fly in from Miami.

Sould be one of the first times to get my GTS down the track.

I'll be getting some great video of everything. You've done more work to that car than anyone I know man, can't wait to see it.

POWERFEST 2003 - SAN ANTONIO, TX

FRI FEB 21 - ARRIVE SAN ANTONIO
SAT FEB 22 - DYNO CONTEST AND CAR SHOW
DINNER AND COCKTAILS ON THE RIVERWALK
SUN FEB 23 - DRAG RACING - SAN ANTONIO RACEWAY (www.rivercityracewayinc.com)
AWARDS DINNER WITH GUEST SPEAKER AND MULTIPLE NHRA CHAMPION, GEORGER BRYCE OF STAR RACING

Hey guys, I have a partial listing that I will post later on, in terms of who is coming. PowerFest has several big announcements forthcoming. Rumors of an 8 sec street Viper and 8 sec. street C5 having a heads up match are going around and we cant confirm this just yet.

Feel free to make your reservations at the Westin La Canterra Resort in San Antonio (210-558-6500). I should have a PowerFest group rate in the next day or so. This is a first-class place and if you want to bring your wife or girlfriend to the event, this is a great selling point.

Also I will post an official event registration form soon. The cost for the PowerFest is still just $100 if your registration is postmarked by Jan. 31, 2003. After that and up to the event, the cost goes to $200.

Thanks!
