I am contemplating taking a set of Stock 3 Spoke Rims (Gen I) and having them polished. Does anyone happen to have any pics of what a Gen I rim looks like polished? Maybe even on a Black RT10? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Anyone have any suggestions on who I should take them to for polishing? Local within Texas would be best, as to save shippping back and forth (I could deliver them and pick-up them up).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I use Airline Plating (713.692.6369) here in H-twon. They currently have my 19" HRE's in for chroming and are fully polishing all the inner barrels for that extra pimp factor.

Tell them that Anthony with the Viper sent you. Ask for Joe the Owner or Richard the Manager.

Thanx Anthony. You are having your rims "chromed". Does Airline Plating also do a (shiny) polished finish without the chrome plating?

Have you compared "Airline Plating" process/quality with www.calchrome.com?
CalChrome actually shows you the process on their website. Supposedly even better than "triple plating". (?)

Yea - I am having the entire inner barrel of the wheel (part you see thru my spokes) fully polished - like the standard HRE's high polished finish.

I would not argue that CalChrome is the best in the business. I went local b/c I did not want to bother with boxing the rims, paying for shipping both ways and wanted a faster turn around time.

Cool, going for the whole barrel (inner too) polished. That will look nice!!
I am a little confused though. Are you doing the high polished look, or are you going to have them chromed after the polishing is completed?

Thanx Tito!

I am still hoping to see a "polished" (not chromed) 3 spoke wheel, if ANYONE has a pic I would sure appreciate it. I have seen several chromed ones, but am having a tough time imagining what a "polished" one would look like. ANYONE...????
