THis car ran a best of 9.8 and was trapping high 140's (148MPH)
no excuses but for what it is worth we had a strong head wind and heat was unreal as well as or perhaps worste than the clutch was bad out of the box. did not have anything else that we could use.
Int he next few weeks I will post a true real life comparison between the blower car and the Twin Turbo.
thanks RSI for a great Product and your support of the V-10 Nationals
Very nice!!! Congrats to RSI and David for a beautiful setup!
Now that you own a monster TT Viper, you'll experience first hand how difficult it is to hook up! /images/graemlins/wink But it sure is a fun ride trying! /images/graemlins/drive
Not sure how it is below the 3ooo RPM, I only drove the car on the track! just like it took me a while to learn the DLM car I am sure it will take some time to work this one out as well.
I have one of the best drivers in the VIper scene driving the car for now. (I can't drive both) SO I think by columbus I will have to cars that will make some noise inthe unlimited class.
About the NOS, I will not go Nos until we get the Boosted only number. THen after that we will consider it. But I built this car for the street. I wanted a car that wasn't so loud but at least comparible in Power to the DLM!
this car you can still hear the sound system Rocking and the Turbo's when they spool! Too cool
Congrats to you and RSI for building an incredibly fast snake! I know your a very talented driver and when you obtain a little more seat time your efforts will pay off. The RSI TT package looks very clean and the horsepower numbers are very impressive to say the least /images/graemlins/smiles
They do not have to go on the exhaust. Look at some of the 1500 hp turbocharged race cars out there. Some of them use 2 wastegates for thier BOVs. I am guessing that convention BOV's on the market can not flow the needed air to release out of them.
Does anyone know what size turbo RSI is using? And are there any more pics of the header setup?
the project was not under wraps long as it did not take near as long as I am used too. This was another reason that I chose RSI as the turn around time was promised to be much shorter.
Very Few people had knowledge of the project and I appreciate them keeping it under wraps until it was finished!

Well it seems as though you made the right choice. The numbers are insane, and it seems as though the car runs like a champ :thumb: now all you guys need to do is a have a V10 nats in or close to NY so i can sneak in and drool over your cars  /images/graemlins/smiles

You know what was funny is that the people who knew didnt know the others knew anything /images/graemlins/laughing.gif I've had many conversations with MannyC that went like this!!
Me : hey dude
Mannyc: hey, what's going on with Roof?
Me: what do you mean?
MannyC: I hear he is getting a TT built, is this true?
Me: Fuck if I know, what do you think?
MannyC: I dunno, I thought you knew?
Me: Nope, what else is going on?
Both of us knew and didnt think the other person know, too funny /images/graemlins/laughing.gif
