I am really happy with it, it turned out well. Remember that dealer who tried to charge me 220$ for an oil change /images/graemlins/flip2.gif, well the mofo tried to charge me 6.20$ for each clip under the hood (there are 20). I figured he had his arm elbow deep in the KY jelly and assumed I would bend over and take like a chump /images/graemlins/greddy.gif
...but instead I found some clips for 0.25$ each. Plugpic
They are made in the USA so you guys should be able to find them. Just wanted to pass on the info in case anybody was looking for a suitable replacement; they work great. Plug pic 2
BTW Gerald, thanks for your pics a couple of weeks back. I went ahead and did the red in the same color of those khaki pants of yours. I know you say they are really comfortable, but I am just not there yet.../images/graemlins/laughing.gif
2Badd, I used ARMOR COAT. It is a grey can. The 2 colors are "torch red" and "aluminum". They are identical to the engine. I didn't bother with the dealer on this one. Total time took about 4-5 hours over 3 days. It REALLY sets off the engine compartment. I used those little foam brushes, they work best, and to finish the job I used a couple of layers of "clear coat" in a can.
Fun thing to do when it rains.
