What's the deal with HP ratings? There are net, flywheel and rear wheel ratings. The old muscle cars were rated something else?

Which of these is a new Viper rated?

Old musclecars(pre-1972) were rated in gross hp. This was the rating on an unrestricted engine with no accessories attached. Net and flywheel hp should be the same as each other and should reflect the power an engine with all equipment in the car actually puts out at the flywheel. This is the way current cars are rated including the new Viper. Rear wheel hp will always be less, possibly from 10 to 20%.
