My 85 monte carlo has a 305 and an edelbrock performer and 600 cfm carb. The electronic choke on it sticks and this makes the it idle around 2000 rpms. Anybody know how to adjust it? I sprayed it with carb cleaner and that doesn't help.

Is the choke actuator signal going on and off like it should be ? With the car off, open and close it by hand to see if it feels like it is sticking or binding.

Maybe the choke is bad. You can remove it and see if the butterfly moves freely.
