If what looks like 4’s are 9’s?

Thermostat upgrade from stock.

 

I pulled the thermostat a few years ago. I will look at it to see what temp it is. I keep everything. The middle 4 could be a 9. But the first 4 looks solid. I will update all when I get home.

 

I attached the picture of the thermostat I removed a few years ago. Looks like it’s a 195. But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t changed back at one point or not.

 

Both digits sure look like "4's" to me.

 

Agreed but only thing I could find was a sequence using 9’s. It’s a stretch. Then the what looks like AC? Assist with cooling with the thermostat?

Could be anything, payroll number for the tech, specific shop or dealer code.

 

I found it! They are 4’s. That is the part number to the 2000 dodge viper ECM. The difference is the “AC”. Early 2000’s vipers had an ECM module ending in AA. Then version 2 ended in “AB”. The last version ended in “AC”. My 2000 viper was built nov. 1999. There for my viper most likely came with the first style ecm ending in “AA” the previous owner upgraded to the latest ECM. Apparently better idle, throttle response, bugs and some other things changed. Thank you all for helping out though.
