Dropping the belly pan on my 2008 for the first time. Getting those T40 bolts out was no joke - had to impact a couple of them to get them loose. I’m assuming either A, this is the first it’s been down, and 15 years of time and road grime have built up or, B, some previous individual had it down and impacted the bolts back in. Are they usually that tight?

But the real question is, what’s the yellow buildup I had caked up on mine? It was probably sticky at one point in time, as the gravel stuck to it was glued in place and needed to be chiseled off. Buildup was on the driver side around the 2nd or 3rd bolt from the front. I’m assuming either something I drove through, something is leaking that need to be concerned about, a sloppy application of some kind of body sealer in the build process, or sloppy repair job?
