David according to these numbers, if you would have made a full pass it would have been somewhere around a 9.76 @ 153.32 or better  :thumb:

Peter, the track conditions that morning were the best I have ever seen in my life. Sunny, 50 deg. air and a light tail wind. We ran 152.2 and 148.7 that morning on boost only. Same for Dr. Roof. SW and Albert's motor only cars were 140-141. So I would say tha the cool air and tail wind were probably worth a few mph. All the trap speeds from Sunday were incredible.

It is hard to say what the actual rw hp numbers might have been from that morning. But the trap speeds pretty much tell the story. There is no better dyno than the track.

It made 950 rwhp or so at 12 psi on boost only??

Well, at the dyno day it made 822 rwhp, but we have a very good feeling the belt was slipping. The next day at track, we tightened the belt and he made these runs. So it is very possible that he could pick up several hp from the belt and that the weather was perfect. I believe Paolo prooved this at the dyno day when his first dyno run was at 7XX rwhp and then he tightened his belt and pulled 862 rwhp.

John, i think you hit the nail on the head... Those conditions were out of the ordinary... Do they account for a 152 mph run??? I'm not sure, you guys would know better than I would. Even if the tail wind helped with 2 mph, then he is still at 150, which would require about 900 rwhp?? Is that right?
Thanks
Peter

I had no NOS. This was blower only. I have never even considered NOS as an option on my car.

At the dyno in Miami the car yielded 850 RWHP and 882Ft / Lbs TQ witht he tires going up in smoke. I had put a new belt on for the race and only tightened once before the Dyno. I am not a good mechanic and it takes me a long time to make sure I do it right and didn't want to delay on the dyno to tighten the belt. I am sure it would have yielded many more ponies on the dyno than was reflected. I will dyno the car here in Louisville in the next couple of weeks to see if we can get a accurate reading on drag Radials. I will keep you posted. i can assure you it will be more than the 822 posted.

thanks

THe dyno number on Saturday (822 RWHP) is not a fair presentation of the Power that this car produces. I called doug about the numbers and he told me the belt was slipping. I didn't want to do it on the dyno so i waited until sunday to tighten it. I wish i could have tightened for the street Tire shoot out but it really didn't matter because we could not use the power anyway. I will Dyno the car when the snow melts here in Ky to get a more accurate number to share.

The car was open for inspection and I have no reason to mislead anyone.

For more information on this package call the man who create the fastest SUpercharged Car in the WOrld DLM!!!

thanks
