Re: My new Forglines (night pic)

Holy rusted rotors batman!!!! /images/graemlins/laughing.gif The wheels look good. Now change those rotors.

Is it just me or does it seem like Ben has a little more tire on his car (bottom pic) than Chad (top three pics)? Maybe I'm losing my mind..... What size tires do you have fitted on there.?

I think Ben's are 18's with large front tires (295's) and Chad's may be 19's.

Re: My new Forglines (night pic)

I have a set of Eradispeeds in the garage to go on the car. I am waiting on my EBC Green brake pads before changing them out. I cannot figure out what is going on with the tire profile. My Rears are 345/30/19 front 275/30/19 and it looks like shit! I am so disapointed. /images/graemlins/sad Here are some pics in the day light.

What he said...
You guys don't see the difference in the sidewall height in my car and Ben Treynor's on the front wheels. I just can not get over the way that the fronts look like a low profile and the rears look like something that belongs on a hot rod. I would love the swap them out but the tires are on back order and I have no clue where to unload the front set of tires. They have four miles on them now. I am going to put my stock wheels back on until I can get this all figured out.

Re: My new Forglines (night pic)

Chad, remember Ben's are 18's. Of course he has a larger sidewall. I think you just need a bigger tire up front. The rears look great, especially once the car gets lowered. The fronts need a little work but a fat tire could help a bunch.

Check Tirerack for what you can squeeze up front. Since the rears are so tall, you can put almost anything up front. How about the 295/35-19?

Ben's car has 19's it is listed for sale on the VCA Classifieds:

This is the only Stage IV Doug Levin car ever released on the street, and it's as reliable and powerful as his reputation would suggest. I've commuted in it, toured in it, raced it (152 MPH in the 1/4!), put over 1000 RWHP on the dyno in it, and it just keeps begging for more. There's way more in it than I can list here, so I'll just hit the highlights and you can drop me an email for stats, videos, stories, et. al.
2001 RT/10 w/factory hardtop & ABS
Doug Levin Motorsports fully built engine, 488 CID.
Doug Levin stage IV Supercharger+NX system, 15 PSI of boost on current pulley
Autoform rollbar, TeamTech 5-points
UNITRAX "kitchen sink" rear end, streetable 3.07 ratio, Spec IV clutch
Forgeline VR-1 19" 19lb street wheels
CCW slicks & skinnies + race wheels

Pictures, more details etc. at http://www.treynor.com/ViperMods.html

Final [personal] note - this is NOT a car for inexperienced drivers. It will light up both rear tires at 100 MPH, and has a power-to-weight ratio greater than a GSXR1000. Please consider carefully whether you will be a responsible driver, before offering to purchase this car. I would be very sad if it or its new owner got hurt...
G- The red thing is a Toyota Solara the GF's car.

Re: My new Forglines (night pic)

are you serious? Why do you not like the front tires? Is it really that bad?? I am getting ready to order new wheels and I thought about going with the same size.
