Truck dropped it off this morning. Unfortunately today was a huge day at work and I was unable to really do much with it. I did manage to BOOST on it through 3rd gear on some side street, and had to let off as soon as I shifted into 4th. It is literally scary fast.

For what it's worth, the 18 inch SPORT CUP tires on the rear hooked well in 2nd gear from a 3K RPM pedal mash and boost kicking in all the way to redline. It should be noted that today, where I live, it was nearly 90 degrees, so the tires were hot and so were the roads. Tires still held up to nearly 900 RWHP.

I'll be retarding the timing slightly when I fill her up with 91 octane and will redyno.

So, this car pulls like a raped ape. Doug Levin created a monstor of a car for me. I'll have more photos and some video here shortly. The engine work is BEAUTIFUL. I managed to scare the crap out of my brother when I took him for a ride - HA! I can see now how a car like this can beat motorcycles -- ridiculously fast!!!

Yeah, me and the Busa guys will make a run of it at some point. I need to get some seat time with the new car. Very easy to drive actually. I didn't have to slowly throttle into it in second to keep from spinning -- today I mashed it (just about anyway) and it just hooked and took off and felt like the hand of god was holding me back in my seat.

The car is actually pretty quiet once you get to the side of it or inside the cockpit. If you are standing behind the car, watch out. I have some video of them unloading the car where you can hear the exhaust. Let me upload that and post a link.

The irony of it all was that today (being 90 degress here in San Diego) was the PERFECT day for an RT/10 without the top! But no way, I had to take this beast out and see what she could do, at least for a few minutes.

Thanks David. Yeah, I agree, some chrome 547's would make it look bad ass. I really, really, really want 19's, but no good tires for that size yet /images/graemlins/sad

Hey Manny glad to see you finally got it. I will have your last piece out to you this week I promise. That piece with the glove box door has been a real learning process but I have mastered it. Thanks for letting me do you interior, It really turned out nice. The silver leather is one good looking color in a black car especially since we are taking it up between the seats. It is safe to say that I have put more leather in your car than any other I have ever built. If ever you need anything just let me know.

It's dark outside, so I brought the DLM viper in. I finally got to use my stacker /images/graemlins/smiles !!! I have a 4 car garage, but it's full, so I have turned ONE parking space into an area that has 3 vehicles -- wooo hooooooo!

As for the wheels, I am not running Drag Radials yet. I have on Sport Cups on the rear. I heard the Drag Radials are horrid in turns. I was pleasantly surprised with the sport cups today.
