Very cool. Your dads cost on a Ferrari is incredible price. I pay $1,800 just for the Viper a year and thats very low compared to what I have seen.

Fun article. I drive my Viper every day, and my insurance is cheaper than my last Corvette was to insure.

I did have to make the mental decision of whether to keep the mileage down, or to just enjoy driving the car. But that was actually one of the reasons that I picked the Viper over something like a Ferrari. Because you CAN drive the car every day, and get it serviced locally without spending an arm and a leg on labor and parts.

Certainly the Viper isn't cheap for parts or mods, but it is when you consider comparable European performance cars.

I still do that, too! The Viper is just a visually stunning car, and it mesmorizes me every time I look at it.

Yep, me too. I've had mine for almost two years now and I still find myself staring at the car. The GenI/II Viper is just a beautiful eye-catching design. :thumb:
