I have acid leaking down onto my garage floor making a mess.

It still works, but I'm gonna replace it.

What do you guys think would make a good replacement?

What is the number and brand of those Gel batteries some of you are using?

I think I want one of those.

Get a red top optima. You may have to bend the battery tray to make it fit. At the same time, buy a battery minder. I have had my red top in my porsche which is driven about 1000 miles a year for 5 years now. It is now in the viper and still going strong. I tried the rockford fosgate super duper battery, but it would not fit I have an odessey in another car that has a very low profile, but you would have to buy there mounting kit which is a very nice piece of engineering. Hawker makes good batteries as well. Lots of choices, but since I have a little experience with about 4 high-end bats. I would go with the optima and a minder.

Red top Optima and a Battery Tender.
Connect the Batter Tender quick-disconnect lead to the positve post underhood, on top of the drivers footbox. There is a ground post below. The Q.D. lead is approx. 14" long and will tuck behind the plastic side gaurd when not in use :thumb:
