I use the new Safari Browser for Mac OS X and your little hack thinks it's a Netscape browser...

You probably don't care, but it worked out great with all the various browsers i've been using,
this is the only browser i've seen it beeing wrong at. I guess that the safari browser probably
identifies itself as a netscape browser (there may be something else in the strings passed that
uniquely identifies it, should you care) ;)

Most likely, because that is what it is reporting to the server. All web browsers report what they are when a webpage/item is viewed from the server.
