I talked to David Boggs (Dr Roof) last week about having an event in Las Vegas that would count towards the V-10 Nationals points. He said that I would need to keep track of all the info but the points there would be eligible for the V-10 nationals events.

Mopars at the strip is having an event March 19-21 at the LVMS. http://www.moparsatthestrip.com There is a viper class there and we have the opportunity to make additional classes if enough cars show up. I also talked to them and they have the track rented for 3 days. ON saturday we can setup classes the way we want and run a street tire shootout or whatever.

I have already talked to the Nevada VCA pres and Socal VCA president and I have their support. They are going to promote the event to try and get some cars there but I was wondering if anyone wanted to travel there. I am happy to setup a hotel/parking for the vipers if needed. Since we do have the track

I am posting this to see the kind of interest we are going to have in West Coast Drag Racing League. I am going to plan another event with the Supras at the LVMS in October and I am open to others venues but there has to be interest before I can spend a lot of time organizing. We could go to phoenix, anywhere in california, colorado, Oregon, etc.

At the event in march there will be a Competition Coupe in attendance and we are looking at renting a suite at the drag racing facility. It should be a lot of fun. Please sign up through moparsatthestrip.com under vipers so we can get an accurate head count.

Thanks Todd

Feel free to call me to discuss other venues and your thoughts on this event 801-344-5100.

Speaking of bringing both cars, will/can a Hummer H2 pull 2 Vipers somehow ? If not, I will be limited to bringing just one car, which is fine. My other car is more geared towards road coursing and not 1/4 miling. With 782 RWHP on the juice though, I bet it could pull a good MPH on the track.

I just found out that moparsatthestrip has negotiated a special room rate at the Sahara Hotel and Casino, which is where I am booked, for $49 on weekdays and $99 on weekends but you have to book by the 17th of this month to get this special rate!!!

Manny,
I just want you to come! If I had to pick I would say bring the DLM beast I want to see that thing run.

The rooms are booking fast in Las Vegas that weekend, for those of you not interested in the Sahara, which is down near the Stratosphere; my sister checked out a very nice new place off of North Rainbow and Lake Mead drive. The rooms were $104 night.
