Lowering the SRT and giving it some nice wheels really makes the car look so much better. It also seems to run better too. Didnt you think so Packet and Smokin?

That car looked GOOD!!! (IMO). MP and I saw it on Thursday...was fast as all hell....I mean FAST. Pulled hard to 140mph. The torque from those Twin Turbo cars is incredible. Thing about the SRT is that it stops on a dime too. I think the 546R's in a 20" is exactly what that car needs....would be better if that guy used 20" HRE's in the front too.

The front tires in that picture look like their profile is much higher than stock. Must the the quality of the camera. I love the offset on the rear wheels!

CHROME DOES NOT BELONG ON SPORT CARS! Polished all the way.

First, the car looks WAAAAAY beter than with stock wheels. The stock wheels on SRT-10's are average looking at best. I like the HRE 546's. I like the 545's better on the SRT-10. I almost ordered some 547R's for my SRT-10 and then saw the purners on the SRT-10 and quickly changed my mind. I am a big fan of Chrome though.

John, what kind of tires are on the car and what profile are they? Front side walls seem tall.

Are there drawbacks to going with 20 inch fronts like Smokin' suggested, and are there tires that will fit a 20 inch front for the Viper?

Doesnt look very good.

-Centers need to be polished or black
-Looks as if fronts are 18" and rears are 20", could just be the angle though

 do you ever stop the SRT bashing. Oh nevermind what was I thinking. /images/graemlins/laughing.gif

I like the wheels on that SRT-10, but I think it would look a lot better with a bigger front wheels.

This is actually the best looking part of the car:

I like the silver and chrome looks good too. But this car is set up to road race and as such the owner wanted wheels that showed less brake dust.

These are the wheels I ordered for mine. Anybody have a pic of better looking wheels for the SRT10?

Dean Louck's SRT does look great. Good wheel choice Manny. Dean's SRT runs pretty good too. It has our 522 CID Venom 650R engine upgrade under the hood. Too bad somebody didnt get a pic of the motor. Dean made some nice carbon fiber covers that fit on top of the intake manifold.

John, how much power can you guys get out of an SRT10 SAFELY with the turbo set ups these days? From what I have been reading, the SRT10 drive trains just can't handle what the Gen 2's can -- have you experienced this?

Re: Lowered SRT with 20 in. HRE 546R\'s

Manny - we have broken tranny's and diff's with the TT SRT only with slicks at the dragstrip. In reality, the SRT is not a good choice to drag race as it requires a lot of work to get slicks/skinnies on it. We have been testing an SRT TT that makes 800 rw hp and 920 rw tq on 10 psi and it runs great. The car ran 0-150 in under 13 seconds last week on street tires. The car is smooth, powerful and quiet. You are more than welcome to come to Houston and go for a ride in one of our SRT TT's.
