Looking for heater box

Got my car back from the service shop and I believe the tech left some tools on the top of the box and shut the hood. The tolerance is near zero between the hood and that box on my car. They are replacing it but I may need to step in and find them one. So... anyone got one for sell?

Just WOW...

I remember when I had to replace mine after it melted post headers, pre ceramic coating. The challenge wasn't finding the unit, it was finding a unit without a funky plenum rubber seal.

Good luck man, sorry about the bad time.
I believe VPA has them.
Called VPA and they are out.
Dealer wants to try and fix the one I have. I told them I'd use the viper community to locate one. Desperate now.

Thanks in advance
$2k for mine plus yours for core.

I guess I should have mentioned it's a gen 1. I think viper parts Larry has one but he hasn't responded to my email yet. To late to call so maybe tomorrow. Thanks so far guys.

I would consider the one for sale as a factory performance upgrade. It's probably more efficient than the Gen1. If you want originality, then keep looking.
gen 1. that's different. $3k plus yours as a core.

Admin, please delete 8.0 posts and ban him for the PM he sent me. We know you read PMs.

Are you telling me the gen 2, as shown in picture by 8.0 would work? I'm all about originally but need something in the meantime.
Thx
I can't say that with absolute certainty, but the toe box top didn't change, the blower motor didn't change and the air inlet hole location in the hood didn't change. One thing that is definitely different is the location of the ECU. On the G2, it moved to the driver's side and there's a side-inlet flapper valve under the outboard side of the plenum where the G1 ECU was.

The crack doesn't look too terribly bad to me. The plenum box top appears to be riveted to the lower. You could separate it, Super Glue the cracks and gorilla tape the inside. Then, re-rivet the assembly while you continue searching for a good one.

If you know anyone else around with a G2, all it takes is 2 Phillips screws and 2-10mm bolts to find out for sure if it might fit. Swapping is a piece of cake. You may be able to block off the side hole until you source another one.
