Looking for \"better exhaust sound\" advise!!

Hi Viper Bro's!!
I just installed a pair a DynoMax mufflers on my RT/10, and truthfully, I expected them to sound MUCH better. Sure, it's a bit louder, but still sort of tinny and not deep and throaty. Is the problem the stock cats?
I would probably prefer to take them off anyway, but I live in PA., and we have yearly inspections on our vehicles, so I'm a bit apprehensive about removing them and getting nailed. But....I guess they are pretty well hidden, so who would know if they are not on the car, right? Could you guys let me know what you've done, and how it sounds? I would go with Belanger headers, no cats, and the Belanger cat back. At WOT it screams!!!!

I have Dynomax bullets and nothing else. It's really loud, and most people that hear my car like it. It's deep and aggressive! No I just need bigger diameter pipe!
