I would like to recommend In my opinion the top Tuners that support the V-10 Nationals

First You have to look at Racing Solutions out of Houston. They have the Worlds Quickest Viper and have proved to be the Top since the V-10 Nationals has started. They offer a complete line of Top quality applications from Direct Port NOS to All MOTOR and Forced Induction such as SUperchargers and my personal car which is Twin Turbo 1000 plus RWHP

Second

Underground Racing
Kevin Howeth has Done more than other SUper Tuners in his first year in Business than other Blower tuners have done in Multiple years. Think about it his first time at the track he ran 9's with a stock bottom end! That is impressive and I dont think enough has been said about that. He now has multiple cars running in the 9's. I think he sells a Promised 9 second Package for less than 20 Grand. (Perhaps the best deal going)

Macedo Motorsports

Larry has proven to be one of the best Customer service Techs I have ever seen. He is loyal to his customers and takes care of them! I like this in a Tuner! He has tuned many Roe Blower APplications that has proven to be consistant and winners in Multiple classes in the V-10 Nationals!

ALl of these above have been a long term supporter of the V-10 Nationals and I appreciate their hard work and LEVEL of committment to make the series a success.

As for a Vendor There is No one that Compares to PARTSRACK.COM Jon be has pumped Thausands of Dollars into the series!

if your looking for upgrades you need to check these guys out they will stand by you for sure.

I know that other TUners are there and are reputable, but these three stand out in my book for what that is worth.

Mikey and G,

Don't steer this convo in the wrong direction pleeze.

I hear you guys. As a fan of the car and the growth/progress of this series, of course he's visible. That's his entire point and purpose. You don't see Macedo hopping mad (well, maybe at the tree /images/graemlins/laughing.gif) about being first instead of second, even though alphabetically, he SHOULD be first. All in good fun, maybe this is the spark DLM needs to get out to the V-10 Nats and support his cars that are entered into the weekend events. Call me on this, but are other tuners out there at the events supporting their customers?

Seriously,

Jay K.

Roof,
I don't really understand this thread. I know you are always trying to gain sponsors to make the race series work and I applaud your efforts, but the title of the thread would tend to make people think that if you are looking for best tuner, check out the names on the list. Maybe this thread with a different title that acknowledges their support of the V10 Nationals would be a little clearer. Although these tuners might be good, that list does not accurately show the top tuners in the Viper community. Not saying this is what you were trying to say, but it does look that way from your title.

Maybe David wants Underground and Macedo to go easy on him at the next race and feels this is better than talking shit. Underground knows how to get a jump, knows how to play the light. Larry has some fast cars that he brings to the races, one that pops the front wheels so why not give them a smile and a hand.

rohn
David is going down!! We got something for him at the next Viper race!! As far as caring the front wheel?? Matt's car does it also. It carried it through first gear with STOCK suspension when I Dump the clutch at 5500 RPMs in Florida but I prefer on keeping cars together because you don't have to do it to win and run 9s.... Play the light?? whatever makes you feel better. :thumb:
Mikey,

I'm RetarTTed!

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong because I wasn't there, but wasn't Doug at BG back in April supporting Roof and his other customers? I distinctly recall a post on the other board Roof made about that and how DLM made the best s/c'd cars period, etc. Perhaps there is something a little deeper going on here than DLM's support or lack thereof for the race series?
I think your correct RedGTS

I don't know exactly whats going on between Doug and David. I do know that Doug has been there every step of the way for me with both my DLM cars that I didn't even get done by him(bought them as DLM cars done already).

I have never heard one complaint about him or his work.I will be a loyal customer to him as long as I own a Viper.
It's just more of Roof's 'if you aren't with me, you must be against me' complex. As witnessed in his Bikini Girls poll post's comment: If you don't come to the races, please don't vote in the poll... So the opinion of someone who might be coming to a race someday isn't valued? The vast percentage of Viper owners are not attending the races. You might want their opinion why they aren't instead of in exluding them... How about VHT on the track instead of bikinis? Remember, it's still only like $30 to race at a local strip...
How about the V10 Nationals in bradenton?
I was there and Doug waited on you hand and foot. And a couple months ago Doug flew out to Tennessee for you didn't he?

Frank T
first post and you are so observant but, you must have been lurking in the halls reading all the post for so many years.
How about this for why most owners do not attend the races #1 just not racers, weekend drivers, distance, time away from home.
#2 over 15,000 viper owners and how many even know of or visit Viper Alley or the org. where they might hear about the V-10 series.
and then you have reason 3,4 and 5 through 19

Frank, are you one of the vast and if so why are you not attending the races?

Like any series getting it off of the ground is a task and while not perfect Roof has done a great job. From time to time he might post from the heart and it might upset some but so what at least he is not afraid to post his thoughts especially here where BBQ is common place, BBQ the post and the poster.

welcome to the alley if that is really you Frank.

Gerald

Why do you or anyone keep bringing up DOug LEvin???? Never said anything about him. He is NOT a SPonsor of the V-10 Nationals therefor he is not mentioned. THis thread is not about him. Maybe I should start one for him???

as for the comments of feeding me financially gets you on the list? You are so off base. The V-10 Nationals is something that is far from profitable. It is something that I felt the VIper WOrld needed, and I work hard to see it happen. Never has it been a financial Benefit for me. As a Matter of fact it has been a loss. Between myself and a few other individuals we make up the shortages.

But I will promote everyone that supports this series. It is the right thing to do. If my thread title offended someone I apologize that was not my desire or motive. My objective is to give credit to those who make things happen with the V-10 Nationals. and as far as them being the best? they are as far as the race series goes. RSI Underground and Macedo always show strong in the classes they Run. If your going to build a car you will drag race you owe it to yourself to check these guys out. they will be there on raceday with no excuses.

Heffner Performance, BTR performance, SVS (getting involved) HMS all are major contributors that have made the series a success.

I have a desire to see this V-10 Nationals series become a successful series that will last for a long time, that is my only objective.

AS I remember it Jason Heffener waited on DR.ROOF hand and foot when he had to tighten the rockers that were trying to fall off Roofs car... No flame intended but you keep worrying about the longevity of <BLOWN GTS> The stock underground car. Just to let you know since that car was built there has been no problems as of yet. <blownGTS> has gone 9.75 for a $15k upgrade.. Dr.ROOF has gone 9.63 for a $50k + upgrade.. /images/graemlins/laughing.gif which is the better deal. Gerald is your car stock?? when do you plan on racing your Viper?? I will show reliable blown GTS is if you are willing line up beside it.

Kevin, Kevin, Kevin,

I was at Bradenton with my 30k mile car watching the veterans race. My 1st time at the strip, but hey, I ended up ALMOST at 140mph with street tires! Another pass or two and I woulda hit it for sure... Not bad for street tires and a full setup of Audio in the rear. What were you at, 141 once and perhaps 142? HAHAHAHA ( and you have what, over 120 more rwhp?!!), WHO KNOWS, WITH Slicks and some tricks I might have beaten your cheatin' ass! :lolcry: You get caught up in E.T. too much. If you want some serious HP, take a hint and put a shot of Nitrous on your cars.! /images/graemlins/laughing.gif

ooooooooh a roller rocker came loose... hahahah

It's all in good fun and we'll be having much more in LA. I find myself becoming consumed with ensuring everyone does well and lose myself in doing so. So, before I have a stroke or heart atack, I'm going to make some changes. We look foward to gazing upon the top of your head from the podium. /images/graemlins/laughing.gif

BTW, KC mentioned he had some new literature for me he was going to Email?

Talk to you this week, Sweetheart!

Why would you want to vote if you've never even been to any of the races. No your opinion don't count. Why attack Roof??? If you had ever been to the V-10 Nats. you would know that they do use VHT. How much money or time have you devoted to the series???????? :fist: With your attitude you need to stay at your local track.
