To me, Ferrari only started building good looking cars with the introduction of the 308.

I know every single one of them are valuable, but anything before the 308 doesn't do a thing for me.

.........Like this glorified Sunbeam Alpine look-alike....

I can agree about the Sunbeam ripoffs and the Superamerica Ferrari station-wagons, but man, how can you deny these???

I would kill & die for a Daytona:

Disagree completely Mark.

I think their pre-1970 cars are incredible (less the few "sedan sunbeam" models. The "mid-year" cars like the 308 are terribly dated (not to mention boring to drive with sub-225 HP). They got hot again in the 80's!

Yikes! that GTO pic above is a kit car!

this is the real deal...

This GTO is worth well over 14 million dollars as it's the prototype GTO. It is the most desirable or any Ferrari today.

Amazingly it lives here in Cincinnati and I have seen it first hand. It's truly amazing....almost better than sex. /images/graemlins/laughing.gif

Personally, If I desired a car with that shape body, I'd rather shoot for one of these babies...........

I thought that GTO looked a little... off, somehow. Frankly though, monetary considerations aside, I'd take a Ferrari Daytona over just about any Ferrari except an F40, F50, 355, or a 575M. I don't like the 360s, and everything else just looks too dated. I can appreciate most of them, but the list of ones I'd actually want turns out to be fairly short.

Edit - Actually, I worded that incorrectly. I'd take a Daytona over anything but an F40 or F50. But the 355 and the 575M are on the "want" list. Heh, like it matters. Oh well.

A Speed Racer Mach-5 looking car does nothing for me, but what do I know, I'm the guy who had an ugly ass 64 Plymouth station wagon. /images/graemlins/laughing.gif Now, I wouldn't mind riding around in an original Bat-mobile  To each his own. :thumb:

Has anyone else ever been to the Vintage Club's Mt. Equinox (VT) hillclimb? Some of these cars run there. Amazingly cool weekend!
