They are the HRE 547's in 18". I had them fully chromed, 3 step process. John Wallace from HRE sent them out to someone in California. I think it totally made the car! I had absolutely no regrets at all or problems.

NONE AT ALL! And I heard that same thing before I chromed mine. I've seen them polished and I don't think they compare at all. I had no problems at all.

All the 547's currently out in the market are standard. No "R's" have been shipped. The standard HRE design has a stepped lip - so the center section is not a true 18" or 19" making the wheel appear slightly smaller than others on the market. The "R's" have a flat lip and larger center section.
Getbit's are 18's front and rear. I would highly recommend clear coating - if you go polished - much easier to maintain.
I have 19" 546's on the front and rear - I don't see the downside and the look is MUCH better to me. I don't see the benefit of the smaller front rim.
