Can you let me know if your HRE 547's are 18 or 19 inch? what finish? any regrets for getting the size you did?

They are the HRE 547's in 18". I had them fully chromed, 3 step process. John Wallace from HRE sent them out to someone in California. I think it totally made the car! I had absolutely no regrets at all or problems.

KING GTS- have you seen what the High-Polish with clear coat looks like from HRE? I was warned to stay away from chrome due to wheel flex, have you had any problems...? comments?

NONE AT ALL! And I heard that same thing before I chromed mine. I've seen them polished and I don't think they compare at all. I had no problems at all.

Also, anyone see any downside to 19" 547s? (besides no racing tires available...) how about 19" in back, and 18's in front...any problems doing that?

All the 547's currently out in the market are standard. No "R's" have been shipped. The standard HRE design has a stepped lip - so the center section is not a true 18" or 19" making the wheel appear slightly smaller than others on the market. The "R's" have a flat lip and larger center section.

Getbit's are 18's front and rear. I would highly recommend clear coating - if you go polished - much easier to maintain.

I have 19" 546's on the front and rear - I don't see the downside and the look is MUCH better to me. I don't see the benefit of the smaller front rim.

king can you post a larger pic of your avatar? i want to see the triple chromed 18's. besides price, anybody have any pros and cons to 18 or 19 inch wheels?

And the King is correct again. I have a set of HRE polished and as soon as I get a spare set of rims mine are being sent off to the same place. Polished vrs chrome a big differance.
