We now have JE pistons in stock (8 sets total) for the following applications:

Gen 1 & 2: 10.8:1 compression (normally aspirated) and 9.0:1 compression (forced induction). These pistons are 4.030 in. and are designed to be used in a 510 CID stroker package.

Gen 3: 10.8:1 compression (normally aspirated) and 9.0:1 compression (forced induction). These pistons are 4.040 in. and are designed to be used in a 522 CID stroker package.

If you are considering a stroker short block, the JE pistons and JE pro wrist pins are the best choice in my opinion. Since we now have these hard to get pistons in stock, we can build stroker motors in as little as 2-3 weeks.

4.04 is a stock 340 bore size. What makes them so hard to obtain?

I was not aware either, until I tried locating parts for my engine rebuild.

Stroker crank was $1500 from them.

Todd at Arrow is a very straight up and helpful guy. They will build you a stroker motor too.
